This is my LO for the All About Me Challenge #4. It needed to be about a 'Turning Point' in your life. I knew that I didn't want my LO to be a sad one. . .but. . .Mom's death. . . and my son Chase's death were the two events that kept popping into my mind. So, I tried my best to keep it 'light' and express something that has changed. . .but changed for the best.
Carrying on all of the wonderful traditions my Mom instilled in my sister and I, is a wonderful way to honor her memory (i think). Making the change from 'having' or 'being given' a happy home & life . . .to 'creating' a happy home & life has really made a difference in who I am today. It feels good knowing that I am teaching my family the wonderful lessons and traditions she taught me.
The journaling reads:
"Carrying on. . .and making Mom proud. I hit a major turning point in my life when my Mom died. Now. . .I strive to carry on the family traditions she sooooo loved."
