It was a Jillibean Soup Sunday

Wow!  What a weekend.  We spent Saturday afternoon and evening in San Diego at The Grand Del Mar for my Uncle's Wedding.  Boy was that spectacular!  Best wishes to them as they start their new adventure together.  Yesterday, I had lots of time to play with my new Jillibean Soup products that arrived last Friday.  I just have to say {in my really loud voice}:  I LOVE THAT ALL OF THEIR LINES MIX AND MATCH SO WELL TOGETHER!!!  I found that I not only played with my new papers, but lots of their older stuff came leaping back onto my projects too.  -Now that is definitely a sign of a wonderful product line.
*O.K. . .go grab a warm 'cuppa' and sit back to relax. . .this is definitely gonna be a picture heavy post.  I hope you like it.

When I saw that little bird stamp I knew that I had to try and cut it out! : )  Challenging. . .but worth it {I think}  : )

Yep. . You're seeing it right!  I brought back the good ol' Paper Crimper!  : )   I've been using it a lot on my projects lately.  Other trends that I've noticed about my 'stuff' is lots of white inking and 'flag style' lettering swooping around circular edging.  It is soooo funny how we 'scrappers' go through 'phases'.  : )

This 'outing' was CRAZY FUN!  The journaling was taken from a post on my family blog.  If you'd like to read it click here.  I did go crazy myself on the 'date' sticker. . .it should read '10/'09' not '7'.  Don't know what I was thinking. . .I'll have to fix that.

I 'HAD TO' do a LO featuring my little breakfast lovers.  Boy can these kids eat!   After breakfast I snapped a few shots outside the restaurant. . .I love it there. . with all the old wood buildings. . oh, there's even an old giant corrugated tin barn-like structure.  LOVE it!

I think this will look nice in my living room.  It will coordinate just fine with the other stuff.  Cody noticed it on the wall this morning. . .he thought I bought it. . .I was soooo proud when I told him I made it and his face lit up!  {warm fuzzy feeling}.

Whew-we!  I was BUSY yesterday. . .I am soooo lucky that it was a warm and beautiful day out. . .the boys spent all day playing outside.  :)

That's it for now!  See you soon.  I have 5 LO's, 2 cards and a picture frame to share with you after it posts to the Jillibean Soup Blog. . .hopefully tomorrow {fingers crossed}.  :)  Oh, I almost forgot. . .right before I went to bed an orange piece of My Mind's Eye paper was 'looking at me' . . .so I made a quick 'Astronaut' LO with it. . . I'll come back and post that later too!  : )

Happy Day!

love, lisa
