Grandma's Christmas Soup - From Jillibean Soup

The holidays are right around the corner.  I made (i think) a cute set of Christmas stuff with Jillibean Soup's Grandma's Christmas Soup line.  Here's what I came up with.

Here is the whole set.  A Christmas Card, Holiday Open House Card, Homemade Jars of Jam decorated and ready to give, Recipe Cards, Coordinating clothespins to attach tags etc., and a gift bag.

This Christmas Tree card was a lot of fun to make.  It evolved out of being unable to decide which PP to use.  Since I couldn't decided, I used lots of them!  : )  I used a border punch and chalk ink on the edges, and curled up the ends so they kinda flip-up like a real Christmas tree.

On this card, I used Jillibean Soup's Journaling Sprouts in Kraft & Brown to create a house for the cover.  I took a small square and used it as the main part. . .and snipped off the corner of a larger scallopped one to create the roof. . . I also added a piece of PP for color.

Here are the Jam Jars.  The Journaling Sprouts fit perfectly on top of the lids!  : )  Yay!  I think that when I give them, I will add ribbon around their bellies with a cute bow.

These clothespins are so handy.  I've made these to coordinate with the set and to be used to attach the gift tag on the gift bag.  I ran out of the brown buttons that I usually add to the ends. . .they really help complete the look.  I'll get 'em on as soon as they arrive on my doorstep (shhh!  Don't tell DH!)

Here are a couple of recipe cards.  I think I may re-do them in kraft paper. . .and maybe only add the bottom strip of PP. . .I bet a scallop border would be nice too!  ; )  -Oh the possibilities.

Finally, a cute little gift bag.  I'm gonna make these to deliver the jam in.

That's it for now!  Gotta go make some more.  : )  -I do have a few layouts to post. . .but my time on the computer is up. . .duty calls. . .I'm off to change a diaper!  : (

love, lisa
